Double IPA is a bold, full-bodied brew with a hazy appearance and an irresistible tropical aroma.

Fucking ridiculously priced keg. Sheffield Tap. I hate this place. The cask Jaipur is wank. The staff are just as wank. Anyhoo. Nearly clear (as I’m not at all hazy) medium gold. Tight white foam. Looks good, just not for style. Nose has semi sweet malts and fully sappy, resinous hop leaf. Nicely ripe citrus peel. Super clean throughout. Taste is well balanced with rising chewy bitterness. Properly dangerously easy drinking. Bitter finish lasts admirably. Great stuff. Keg only apparently, but they definitely need to can it.

Keg draught at Cafe Metro, Bilston. What, Thornbridge? No name, just Double IPA? All righty then. It's middling gold, not much haze for a hazy with a small off-white head. Light aroma... some pine, a little bit of sugary citrus. Taste is lovely. Sweet, syrupy and boozy. Some orange caramel, bready notes. Medium body with good carbonation. Hangs together very well.
