Brewed with a blend of Citra and Motueka hops, Detachable Face pours a vibrant light orange with a soft, medium haze. On the palate, you’ll find bright, zesty notes of fresh-squeezed lime and juicy mango, balanced by subtle, slightly woody undertones that add depth and intrigue. A smooth, medium body makes each sip easy and refreshing.
And just like those old stereos, every can has its own detachable face. Grab one and try it for yourself!

Sample at the roost. Murky, but watery yellow, white head. Starchy nose, wheat and dried herbs and dried citrus peel. Dried pineapple. Flavor is weird, key lime and herbs, dried grasses and light grist. Feels old. Light in the palate, lightly fruity.

Passion fruit and green onion. Murky yellow pour with pretty good head. Light hop tang finish. Some tangerine peel. Decent, but whether it's because the market is saturated with hazies or Trillium has declined, it's been a minute since I had a really good IPA from them. Tap at Churchkey.

Pours a moderately hazy, pale lemon yellow, with smallish head. Aroma is citrus and tropical fruit. Flavors follow, with some astringency in the finish. Mouthfeel a touch thin, perhaps? Moderate hop bitterness at the end.

Pours hazy gold into a willi. Bright white head good retention recedes to coat surface. Pineapple and guava aromas. Sharp with lemon, pineapple and passionfruit front to back. Lasting earthy pith and peel finish.

Canned 4/16/25, drunk 4/26/25.
Moderately hazy, paler golden. Firm, frothy, large, white head.
Juicy and with plentiful house yeast adding light cellar/mineral notes alongside white grape and mineral from the hop. Clean and bright with no resin or sugar.
Malty and rich up front but a more elegant honey-like maltiness than a lot of recent Trillium IPAs which seem to have a rather sugary white bread and table sugar character. Juicy, spicy, excellent mineral, ample bitterness.
