At the brewery during layover in Montreal on the way back from MBCC. #
A bit sweet, caramel, some plums. Quite sweet but also somewhat dry, too. Has some little bitterness as well.Not very much American (thankfully). Quite pleasant.

A red copper barleywine with a thin creamy lacing light mocha head. In aroma, sweet fruity caramel malt with light vinous character, light butterscotch notes, alcohol warmth, pleasant. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity caramel malt with banana esters, cloves, alcohol warmth, light vinous character, mix of Belgian and American. On tap at brewery.
