Cask at Reading Beer Festival. Floral, then heavy, obvious dandelion & burdock, just like the fizzy drink. Liquorice grows as you drink more. Very sweet; the whole sweet d&b flavour gets a bit oppressive by the end.

Bottle. Beer Central, Sheffield. Clear, deep ruby red. Film of beige head. Nose has Barr’s Dandelion and Burdock, and not a great deal else. Taste is sweet and fruity, with some dryness on the back. Light body. A little thin. Thin, fruity, dry finish. Not for me.

Cask at the Craven Arms, Birmingham. Poured a clear dark brown with a frothy very light tan head. The aroma is pure dandelion and burdock. Reminds me of my childhood! The flavour is moderate sweet with a smooth rich light, fresh, red berry fruit, light hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.
Amazing. Full on d & B flavour!
