On tap at First Draft - Minneapolis, pours a deep dark brown / black with a small tan head. Aroma brings out dry, heart oats, and a touch of cocoa. Flavour is along the same lines, with hearty oats, cocoa and some harsh booze. Reasonably balanced, despite the slight alcohol chaos. Decent.

Bottled. A dark red beer with a thin tan head. The aroma has notes of chocolate, malt, oats, and bread. The flavor is sweet with notes of chocolate, roasted malt, oats, and caramel, leading to a dry chocolaty finish.

Bottle 35,5 cl. Courtesy of Skyview. Pours black with an orange hue and a small light brown head. Hard roast aroma yet with a lactose sweetness - although no Milk Stout. Rich sweet roasty body, dark dried fruit and chocolate with a very subdued bitterness. Very pleasant. 260412

12 oz. bottle courtesy of Tripplebrew. Served cellar temperature in an English pint. Black as a raven in color with fast diminishing, tan head. Mild lace. Nicely intense roasted malt and chocolate aroma’s. Nice flavors of Milk chocolate, vanilla and a light hop to balance the sweetness. Some lactose sugar. Mouthfeel is creamy. Body is a tad lacking, ABV is only lightly noticeable. Overall a well-executed sweet stout. Not overly sweet.
