Malt beverage brewed with pumpkin and spices and aged in Wild Turkey bourbon barrels.

Our bourbon barrel-aged Fall Hornin’ is pleasantly creamy with a silky body and sweet caramel flavor. The aging process imparts notes of coconut, vanilla, and oak to compliment the tang of the spices and a hint of hops, all wrapped in a smooth, round finish.

Dark brown pour, with a big beige head. Aroma is loaded with sweet malts, loads of pie spices and a heck of alot of Bourbon barrel. Vanilla, oak, and sweet bready, and boozy malts. Thick, oily mouth feel, medium carb. Very low bitterness, the finish is quite sweet an bozy thing of mixing canned pumpkin pie filling with a shot of Bourbon and a chunk of dank, old, boozy soaked barrel. Interesting, but big and a bit overwhelming.

Bottle split at RB Best Hotel Lobby Share, post festival, 31/01/16. Hazed chestnut brown with a decent beige head. Nose is candied fruit peel, nutmeg, mixed spice, punokin pie. Taste carries a subtle bourbon streak, pumpkin, nutmeg, clove, light white peppery spice. Medium + body, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a light alocohol quiver. Decent fun beer for the style.

Tap mad mex. Smooth friendly spiced aroma, not up yer snoot. Quite dark. Flat. First impression is a mellow spiced brew that is easy to accept. I’m not one for spiced brew but this is almost acceptable. Spices in the forefront and I almost think there is some pepsin in there. Somewhat balanced. Could not drink two of these but it was ok for a change in taste. Cough medicine effects in the finish.

Tap at Hair of the Dog, Phloen Chit, Bangkok. Poured a clear medium brown with a thin broken off white head. The aroma is pumpkin spice, fruity alcohol. The flavour is moderate sweet with a rich sweet malt woody spice alcohol bitter palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. Lots of woody barrel notes and alcohol with plenty of berry fruits in the background.

Bomber, thanks billyfuck. Aroma is perfect barrel aged goodness, with coconut, earth, caramel, raisin, light wood. Pours hazy cola brown with some beige foam. Taste is more woody than the aroma let on. A little too thin, but really tasty.

Rich deep dark brown coloured body with a very thin tan head. Aroma of roasted malt, squash, bourbon, vanilla, oak, licorice and quite a bit of earthy bitterness. Medium to Full-bodied; Strong earthy and sweet flavours up front with the squash and pungent alcohol flavours right behind, ending with a lot of bourbon and oaky notes. Aftertaste shows some earth, a lot of malt, some pit fruit and caramelised sugars and a lot of bourbon and squash. Overall, well-balanced, full of flavour and showing a moderate amount of complexity throughout. Nice to sample on draught and worth trying, especially if you like squash-based beers. I sampled this sixteen ounce snifter on draught at the end of my driveway at Whole Foods in Pentagon City (Arlington), Virginia on 27-September-2016.
