Bottle at Mikkeller Bangkok. Poured a clear medium amber with a thin broken white head. The aroma is sticky toffee, rich woody resin hop bitter. The flavour is moderate bitter light sweet with a smooth rich oily woody hop, tropical fruit palate. Medium to full bodied with soft carbonation. Superb... and I’m not normally a DIPA fan.

Bottled@Kitty’s. Amber colour, small white head. Aroma is fruity, floral, some apricot and quite grassy notes with some sweet malts. Flavour is fruity, some toffeeish, floral, grassy and mild wooden notes. Past it’s BBE date, and having some elements of hops gone a bit off, but yet very nicely balanced, and I actually liked it quite a bunch when the hops weren’t that aggressive.

500ml bottle. Almost overpowering aroma. There’s lots of hops, as is to be expected, but the caramel and orange notes are a very pleasant surprise. Absolutely nothing left off the table here, this is big and bold.

500mL bottle, pours a cloudy dark orangey brown with a medium white head. Aroma brings out resinous hops, some pine and earthy notes. Flavour is super fresh, with resinous hops, pine, and just enough caramely biscuity malt. Balanced well, with a lovely resinous and piney finish. Excellent.

Flarra.

At the multi-national tasting held in Rome-Italy on 29/08/2015 (Jow, Mortlach, ippopotamo36 and Marco). Bottle, perpetual thanks to Sylvan. Pours a semi clear amber color, off-white adhesive cap. Nose: amber malts feel, alcohol, resinous mild notes. Mouth: rich, malty, alcohol blast (warming), caramel, very balanced!

From a 500ml bottle on 5/6/2014. Pours a clear deep golden with a small head. Has a strong aroma featuring lots of fruity, resiny hops, and fresh fruit salad. Big on flavour, it features a light caramel malt background, masses of sweet apricot and peach, and big lingering, resiny hops at the back. The texture is a bit syrupy and the carbonation average. Very nice stuff.
