Gravity poured half-pint; 18th Oct 2019. 5th Shifnal Beer Festival. Misty orange body, white crown. Liked the Belgian yeasty aroma and spice mix in the nose. Taste was 'farmyardy' but not too sour or 'funky'. A nice easy drinking Saison without the nasty aftertaste some possess.

330ml bottle. Cloudy, orangey golden colour with average to huge, foamy to macropore, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Spicy aroma, basic Saison flavours, notes of pink peppercorn, a touch of elderflower. Taste is dry, herbal-spicy, minimally soapy, notes of pink peppercorn, a touch of brine and elderflower, mint, toothpaste. Not overdone but slightly one-sided.

Bottle shared in CW - sourced from Beer Gonzo. Pours mostly clear gold with a big, frothy white head. Lots of herbs in the nose, wheat bread, yeast. Light sweet flavour with more prominent herbal character, flakes wheat. Light bodied with lively carbonation. Finishes with some citrus rind, dry pith, more herbs. Not bad.
