Keg at Globe Tavern, Borough. Sweet Apple blossom and yeast lager aroma. Dark gold. Lazy bubbles. Very thin white head. Initial hoppy bitterness before a bittersweet than sourness kicks in. The latter almost reminds me of apple juice. Light bodied. Watery. The carbonation has some impact to it. Saccharine aftertaste. Not bad wouldn’t drink too many - too sweet and bloating.

Keg at Heist Bank - Paddington. Pours clear gold with a foamy, white head. The aroma holds simple cereal and pale bread. Light to medium sweet flavour with some doughy pale bread character, more cereal, light bitter straw, a little meringue. Light bodied with average carbonation. Sweet finish, biscuity, with some white bread, minimal bitterness. A pretty basic lager overall.

Keg at the Elgin, Maida Vale. It pours clear yellow with a white head. The nose is classic lager malts... sweet, doughy, light spice, hay and cereal notes. The taste is crisp, bitter-sweet, doughy, toasted grass, cereal and grain with a dry, clean finish. Medium body, moderate carbonation and foamy mouth-feel. Smooth and easy going. Certainly nothing wrong with it. Solid lager.
