Medium brown, no head. On the nose, this has a lot of barrel. On the palate, it's huge, and there's a soft body, lots of toffee. A fair bit of alcohol, tempered by the intense sugars, and light fig fruitiness. The rye barrels are biggest, and then there is that apple brandy coming through a little bit.

500mL bottle, pours a deep dark brown with a small beige head. Aroma is extremely rich and complex, with plenty of spicy rye whiskey barrels, a touch of bourbon, some dark dried fruits, and some smokiness. Flavour is very boozy and yet highly complex, with plenty of dark dried fruits, brown sugar, toffee, some smokiness from the barrels, and light rye spiciness. Well there’s definitely a lot going on here, and I like much of it. It’s boozy and yet there’s so much depth that I enjoy this a lot.

500ml (thx, Josh and Colin!) @ Ryan's.
Aroma: boozy, dark fruits, barrels.
Taste: along the same lines, some meaty notes, very boozy. But that long-lasting creamy aftertaste is something... Jeez!
Overall: Hand of Glory on steroids.

Poured from 500mL bottle. Very dark brown with minimal beige head. Caramel and toffee malt with all those barrels, smooth whilst still showing the abv. Very nice, but I think I prefer Hand of Glory just slightly, despite same rating.
