Cask-conditioned at the Commercial Rooms (JDW), Bristol March 2016. Deep copper in colour, with a slight, off-white, head. Aroma of sweetish malts and a touch of berry fruit, with a whiff of leafy hop. Flavour had sweetish, bready, malts, some more fruit and a gentle finish. A bit underpowered.

On cask @ the Standing Order. Appearance - amber with a nice head. Nose - toffee, light biscuit. Maybe a hint of chocolate. Taste - yes, toffee and light biscuits confirmed. Palate - close to medium bodied with a creamy yet crunchy texture and a finish that could be less sweet, if I’m being honest. Overall - tasty enough, but could finish better.

Cask handpull at Lord Moon of the Mall Spoons London. Clear red ale lasting beige head. some red fruit. Quite light in mouth. Some dryness on the finish. A little watery maybe. Cold. As a red ale it has some fruit. It’s OK a little spice to the dryness on the finish. OK.
