Cask at the Tree House, Beaconsfield. Amber-red with a thin white head. Very sweet. Caramel, caramel and more caramel. Just a hint of dry earthy hops behind but really this is one of Rebellion’s poorer monthly specials.

Cask at the Hope and Champion, Beaconsfield. Poured a clear medium amber with a frothy white head and some clingy lace. The aroma is light citrus hop. The flavour is moderate bitter with a smooth woody hop bitter, light toffee, caramel palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Sampled at the brewery. A good looking bright amber pour with a dense cream head; orange citrus aroma; orange citrus taste with a pleasantly crisp bitterness; and a biscuity finish. Better than the average Rebellion monthly offering.

Cask at the Bootlegger, 07/05/16. Golden amber with a well appointed off white head. Nose is pale malts, light caramel, orange rind, straw. Taste comprises caramel, grain, light bread, citric rinds, straw. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close. Ok ... inoffensive stuff but far from setting my beer world alight!
