Cask at the Birmingham CAMRA Beer Festival 2015. Poured almost black with little life. The aroma is creamy coconut, light spice. The flavour is light bitter with a smooth creamy big Sorachi hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Cask @ New Oxford, Salford. Not fully black but getting there, with a frothy head. The coconut is light but certainly evident in both aroma and taste with possible a hint of spice too with some very light roasted malt evident.

Cask at Cherry Reds, Brum. Pours jet black with a small head. Aroma is liquorice and a little vinegar. Taste has chocolate and liquorice. Didn’t really get the coconut or cardamon. Not in the best condition.

Keg at Brewdog Birmingham; dark brown pour with a creamy light tan head, an after eight mint plain chocolate aroma, taste has some definite wall vienetta minty action, vanilla some plain chocolate, quite a crazy but pleasant beer.
