Pint on tap at Three Crowns in North Melbourne. Amber beer with white head. Fulsome carbonation. Nose of dough and berries. Full body, viscous texture. Taste is berries, finish is dry with pithiness. Very nice.

Draft at Taps Beer Bar, Changkat, Kuala Lumpur. Poured a hazy medium amber with a frothy white head and a little broken lace. The flavour is moderate to light bitter with a fresh grassy hop citrus, light yeast, light pine needle palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Super fresh and tasty.

(Bottle) Hazy amber with stupid quantity of head - took two pint glasses to pour 500ml. Nice fresh pine aroma with hints of pepper. Medium bodied with good smooth carbonation. Nice well balanced taste. Plenty of fresh fruity flavours over so e subtle biscuity malt at the start with some good bitterness developing late in the finish. Very pleasant - after an annoying pour.

Getting 3 tastes from this little baby - grapefruit, grapefruit, and grapefruit. Lucky I love my grapefruit! Bumping up the rating after a re-taste. This is a well balanced beer, medium butter finish.

There’s a really nice balance between malt and hops in this beer - it’s a very clean, easy drinking beer that’s closer to an IPA than a pale ale in my books. The aroma is a mixture of pine, grapefruit and honey with some very subtle bread late in the piece. On the tongue, there’s plenty going on with grapefruits spilling over the side, malt settling at the front and a little pine needles and spearmint travelling a good way down the throat.

From a 330ml bottle on 8/3/2012 (batch no. 108). Pours an opaque dark orange with smallish bubbly head that dissipates quickly. Has a lovely fruity, floral (pollen) aroma with a touch of honey. The flavour follows suit with more fruit and honey, and some yeastiness, against a background of English style malt. The carbonation is mid to high. A nice pale ale.

Pours dark amber with a large, fading head.Nose shows citrus fruit along with peach, green apple and fruit sherbet. Lovely.Flavours are not as fruity, instead focussing on nutty and toasty malt. Finish is a bit weak, needs more bitterness.Could use more carbonation.

Bottle, batch 66. Clear amber with a dense off-white head that fades but laces well. Aroma of passionfruit, grapefruit, toffee, spices. Mouthfeel is slightly slippery. Low carbonation. Taste is fruity and moderately bitter. Toffee is slightly butterscotchish, but not much more than respectable in my book for British-style malts. Nice use of Kiwi hops - no cat. Not quite there and horrendously expensive, but quite engaging.
