(2016 keg @ Himmeriget, Copenhagen, Dec 15/17) Pitch black pour with a small off white head. Aroma is pretty roasted and peppery, notes of coffee, hard-roasted cacao, ashy burnt grain, moderate whiskey, wood, light sweet caramel, soft vanilla and spicy chili. On the palate, rather dry, core of dark caramel and chocolate, burnt wood, spent coffee grounds, ash, light vanilla, rather hot whiskey spirit, moderately high peppery heat, dusty, rather harsh into the finish. Medium-full body, soft carbonation, a bit of booze. Came across as rather harsh in comparison to many other stouts consumed alongside, like the chilies and barrel were amplifying each other's worst qualities. Maybe a bit old, not the best Bomb. Remembered this as better from a quick sip previously.

355ml bottle (thx, Rick P.!) at Matt's. Pours a very dark brown with a weak beige head. Aroma is chocolate, barrel, peppers. Similar taste. This one is nice. Like others BA stuff, though.

Bottle - Dark chocolate and coffee notes. Rich complex coffee, raw wood and some nice dark chocolate. Lots of raw wood and sweet chocolate with a lon* woody chocolate note.

Dark brown. No head. On the nose, rich barrel/whisky notes, coffee is assertive, and there's a bit of vanilla. Sweet, the coffee and vanilla actually go together. Pretty drinkable for this size, the body having a touch of acidity that helps to bring it to life. The finish is a bit nuttiness. Looking at this one way, it's a fucking mess. Looking at this another way, it's a happy mess.

12 oz. bottle, pours black with a small beige head. Aroma is very complex and multi-faceted, with coffee, whiskey barrels, cocoa and vanilla, with a touch of spiciness. Flavour is along the same lines, with spicy peppers, cocoa, vanilla, coffee and whiskey barrels. Probably a bit too many elements here, but they do work cohesively. Finishes on barrel notes, with a touch of spice. Excellent.

Bottle. Black oily pour. Fantastic aroma of bourbon vanilla, milk chocolate, soft chili, earthy vanilla and caramel fudge. Thick flavor of bourbon vanilla, caramel fudge, smooth chili, milk chocolate, mocha coffee, soft licorice, earthy vanilla bean and a soft chiliburn in the finish. Really long lasting delicious flavor. I expected the best and I got the best. Amazing.

0,05l from tap shared by / with the crew during mbcc red session. black color, small very dark coffee colored head. smells green herbal, earthy, licorice, wood, some chilis, very light vanilla. nice smell but expected a bit more. full body, light carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes of molasses, vanilla, wood, light bourbon, bitter chocolate, some green herbs, hints of chili. finishes light to medium sweet with notes of molasses, wood and light vanilla. very nice one, like the taste a lot better than the smell, very good to drink. 7, 4, 9, 4, 16
