Cask, gravity at The Berwick Bar, Shrewsbury Folk Festival Sunday 28th August 2016 Pours hazy yellow with a white head atop. A little honey sweetness and a decent malty backbone, one of the better beers that I have had today from the festival bar. A6 A4 T6 P3 Ov13 3.2

Cask (backlog). Golden colour with a small white head, which vanishes quite quickly. Aroma is mild wood, resin, some slight herbal and floral notes along with some sweet malts and mild nutty notes. Flavour is resin, wood, some herbal, earthy and grassy notes. Balanced, but nothing "extraordinary" when it comes to an ESB.

Hand-pulled pint on 28th Feb 2015 in the Posada, Wolverhampton. Golden bodied brew with a white head that hung around. Pale malty sweetness in the nose and taste, finishes a little more bitter and drier, but overall this is a fairly sweet brew.

Cask at the Crosse Keys, JDW, London. Labled as "Pardoe’s Bumblehole". Pours clear gold with a soft, white foam head. Doughy malt nose with light hay. Very sweet flavor, doughy, with white sugar, straw and vanilla frosting. Some wet straw, too. Light to medium bodied with soft, fine carbonation. Very sweet to finish, lightly sticky, with sugary dough, faint citrus. Surprisingly heavy-duty. Alright, even with the sweetness.
