Beachwood is an incredible brewery based in Huntington Beach, California, making a wide range of beers but best known for hop-forward, West Coast styles. We're both experimenting intently with advanced hop products in crisp, clean beers - so jumped at the chance to team up with them on a bold, bright and resinous IPA.

Can picked up from Hereford Beer house, had this sat in the garden at Isobel and Jude's, Wednesday 11th June 2025. Pours warm hazy gold, mid sized sticky white head. Nice mouthfeel, soft, there's a little citrus, initially a little bit soapy, there is a pleasant citrus bite but also some tropical touches, dry finish. Good.

440ml can. Clear golden, white head. Aroma is resinous and dank, pine, citrus. Taste of pine, resin, orange and grapefruit, moderate bitterness. Medium bodied. I've found these so called "Modern" WCIPA styles lack the bitterness the style calls for but I think Siren's generally still have enough, so that's good.
