330ml bottle. Jet black colour with very late awakening, small, creamy, fading, tan head. BA supported, roasty, minimally chocolately, dark malty and caramel malty aroma, notes of toffee, dark caramel, a touch of treacle, some rye whisky. Taste is sweet-ish, caramel malty, chocolatey and roasty, dark malty, minimally woody and alcoholic, notes of caramel, dark caramel, some toffee, chocolate, treacle, BA hints of rye whisky; minimally warming, alcoholic finish.
Viscous texture, smooth, soft and silky, slightly cloying palate, fine, creamy, soft to flat carbonation.
Very homogeneous and harmonious, super smooth and viscous, not overly complex but with quite some nice subtleties - easygoing, uncomplicated sipper.

Cask at GBBF 25. - Glossy darkest brown. Thin foamy beige ring. Aroma has sweet booze and dark malts. Flavourwise it's similar- a sweet boozy liqourness with rye spice. Thick. Oily. Flat-average carbonation. Long slightly astringent finish. Thick luxurious stuff.

Panda thanks to Cloin. Opaque dark brown beer, small bubbly tan head. Smooth palate, semi dry, decent fine carbonation. Rich chocolate malts, a little dark malt cream. Dark chocolate Malteasers. Chocolate liqueur, boozy and boozy ripe fruits bourbon barrel. A fairly light finish. Dangerously drinkable if, in the long perspective, unremarkble.

Bottle courtesy of the Croatian contingent at the BPBW 2025, huge thanks! Blackish body. Dark malts, vanilla and raisins in the aroma, Lean, dry taste, coconut, light maple, walnut, coconut, wood, ending a bit bitter and warming, slightly too alcoholic.

Bottle in the Airbnb. Pours black, nose is chocolate, blackberry, vanilla, raisin, taste is similar, sweet, fruity, black pepper. 8/9/9/8/8

Nose is dark malts, molasses, spice, liquorice, mellow barrel, boozey nostril poke.
Taste comprises dark chocolate, booze, dark malts, spice, barrel tang, herbal notes.
Full bodied, light oily feel with a balanced rising boost.
Decent enough sipper but lacks a bit of depth for me ... probs go a 7.7 if such a score wasn't banned!
