Cask at the Post Office Vaults, Birmingham. Poured a clear straw colour with a frothy white head. The aroma is light grassy hop, zesty sherbet citrus. The flavour is moderate to light bitter with a creamy smooth, fresh malt, citrus, light hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. Really rather good with plenty of subtle palate tickling flavours there in the background.

Cask conditioned at St Albans BF 2010. Some diacetyl on the aroma. As I feared, not enough Amarillo hop for me. Some character though. Diacetyl rather spoils it.

Gravity på Bree Louise, Euston 28 Sep 10. Gyldenbrun. 0 skum. Søt fruktig aroma. 0 kullsyre. Veldig fruktig smak. Litt vassen og ensformig – men ikke så verst.

Gravity, half shared with Finn at The Bree Louise. Deep, golden-brown body. Naked surface. Enjoyable smell of juicy malts. Dark malty flavour with a solid touch of fruity hops followed by a pleasant bitter finish. A bit watered on the swallow (Euston, London 28.09.2010).

Cask-conditioned at the Butcher’s Arms, Cardiff 19/09/09. Deep gold in colour with a tight white head. Hoppy, citrus and elderflower aroma with some sweet malts. Flavour started sweet, with plenty of citrus hops, juicy fruit, some caramel and a decent dry finish. Good stuff.
