Draft at Grote Dorst. It pours like cloudy apple juice with a bubbly white head. The aroma is musty, dirty, damp basement, hay, cereal, touch of nuttiness, some soft sweetish baked goods, bread pudding and sweaty vibes. The taste is firmly dry, bright acidity, damp basement, deep funk, tannin, barnyard, lemony zing, lime peel, gooseberry, white grape, oily, white wine vinegar, sweaty, minerality and a touch of chalkiness. Finish is bone dry. Medium body and flat. Quite slick mouth feel. Like the bright citrussy twang to these with deep funk. I like it quite a bit.

Bag in a box at the International Geuze & Kriek festival. Pours murky blonde with a white head. Old wood on the nose. Flavour has old wood, some mildew. Fairly bland.

Bag in a box at International Geuze & Kriek Festival 2025, pours a clear copper, tiny head. Aroma is soft, with gentle hay, musty sweat socks, not much else. Flavour has musty sweat socks and old earthiness. This just isn’t good.
