33cl bottle @ Vaasa sessions. Deep brown color with a thin white head. Plummy, dark fruity, chocolate notes in aroma. Flavor has brown sugar, malts, bread, dark fruits. Near full bodied. Sweet but very drinkable. Carbonation could be lighter perhaps.

330 ml bottle, vintage 2014, batch #34, from the brewery. ABV is 8.7%, 54 IBU. Hazy dark brown colour, huge beige head (overcarbonated). Aroma of mild spices, dark dried fruits, malts and leather. Too much carbonation in the mouth. Fairly sweet flavour, the alcohol is not well hidden. Caramel, brown sugar, dark dried fruits, hints of spices and chocolate.

Mørk brun med fingerhøyt beige skum. Lukter sviske, karamell og mørke frukter. Smaker noe brent karamell, søtlig, lett bitter, noe salt mot halslinser. Medium lang salt bitter avsluttning.

Shared bottle at Gladmat festival, Stavanger. Pours dark brown with some beige head. Aroma of chocolate, vanilla, alcohol. Highly carbonated. Some sweetness. Roasty bitterness. Too thin bodied for an old ale.

On tap at UNA Bryggeri, pours an opaque amber brown with a small beige head. Nose brings out toffee and bready malts, with a cake-like sweetness. Flavour is quite rich, with notes of bready malt, toffee and very like caramel sweetness. Pretty smooth and restrained for an 8.7% beer. Well-balanced and constructed. Very good.

Flaske 330ml fra Vinmonopolet, Tromsdalen. Mørk amber. Høyt luftig skum med litt farge. Tett kniplingslacing. Pent å se på! Aroma av karamell & malt. Smaken innholdsrik. Svakt syrlig krydder. Topp fylde. Alkoholen skinner gjennom kamuflert som mandler. KI=4.
