Brewed for the CAMRA 'Mild in May' campaign since 2004.
The clip shows a typical English Morris dancer, who derives the name from Moorish dancing.
This type of dancing developed in the 15th Century as part of the European fashion for exotic spectacle.
With the inclusion of Maypoles, Morris dancing is particularly prevalant at Whitsuntide at the end of May. It, therefore, seemed an apt name for a May beer.
Something to dance about. Special for May.

Cask at the Wellington, Birmingham. Poured a clear dark brown with a frothy off white head. The aroma is roasty chocolate malt. The flavour is light bitter with a light smoky roast, liqourice hop bitter palate. Medium to light bodied with soft carbonation.

(Cask at Edgar Wallace, Strand, London, 18 May 2011) Dark amber colour with foamy, beige head. Malty nose with nuts, caramel and chocolate. Malty, nutty taste with notes of caramel, dried fruit, hints of chocolate and a mild citrussy bitterness in the finish. Rather thin body, with balanced sweetness. Quite nice.
