Handpull cask at the White Bear, Hinckley. Golden with the slightest touch of amber. Not much head but there's a film of soapy lacing all down the glass. Herbal, grassy, earthy aroma like freshly dug weeds. There's also a strong hint of raw grain. Taste sweet and floral with a spicy grassy note from the hops. Light oily palate. Not excellent but enjoyable.

Fra fat på Greyhound i Derby 16 Feb 16. Delt med Rune. Lys gyldengulbrun. Syltynt skum langs glasset. Ser ut som juice. Parfymert fruktaroma. Smaken tynn. Mest druer. Litt tørr etter hvert.

Half-pint shared with Finn, from cask at The Greyhound. A filmy layer over a clear golden body. Fair lacing. Subdued aromas of oily hops and grainy malts. Taste of earthy malts, bread and oily hops. Mild malt-fruity end notes. Easy going (Derby 16.02.2016).
