Cask at the Tilly Shilling (JDW), Farnborough. Golden amber with a ring of white head; spicy, gingery aroma; spicy vegetable taste; and a dry finish. Rather unusual - similar to a pumpkin ale in many ways.

13th March 2015: third of a pint (cask) in my local Wetherspoons during a mini-session midday to celebrate the first day of the 2015 festival. Red hue to the body, clear and bright, decent lacing as the beer level fell. Nice blend with a malty front in both the aroma and taste, semi-sweet molasses are kept in check by a good balance of spicy hop notes that equal out the sweetness well. Easy to drink and worthy of a bigger sample on another day.
