Bottled@Man In The Moon, Stockholm. Copper colour, small beige head. ARoma is fruits, sweet malts, mild raisins as well as some mild plum and hops. Flavour is rather hoppy with some sweet malts and raisins. Pleasantly balanced. A year or so after BBE, but it’s aged rather beautifully and especially in the flavour the hops are still alive.

Bottle 33 cl. Courtesy of bluebetty. Pours a clear amber with a small off-white head. Very sweet butterscotch aroma with a little citrusy hops. Medium body, very sweet caramel and butterscotch. The aroma hops are faint and even the bitterness is discreet. Poor. 150311

From a 330ml bottle on 25/8/2010. The aroma is very fruity - plums and raisins with some spice. Starts out very sweet, with dark fruit and caramel flavours prevalent. Lives up to its name with oodles of lingering hops. A big beer, which is not particularly subtle, but has a fair bit of character. Enjoyable.

Bottle at Chriso’s Kook Tasting 09. Overly sweet IPA. Not enough hop. Bit of oxidation.

Bottle. Looks like black tea. Desultory head. Fruit and pine aroma. Toffee, bubblegum and raisin malt sweetness. Spruce hops and plenty of fairly dull bitterness. If there are lots of hops in here they are ill-used. [2.0] Bottle. Copper. Small, fading beige head that leaves some lacing. Medium bead. Aroma of dried fruit, caramel, pine and a little citrus. Taste as above. A much better bottle, but still not much chop.

Bottle. This IIPA was really boring and tierd. Where are the hops? This one tasted more like a diluted barley wine.

Garnet pour with a small head that fades to a thin clinging layer.Intensely fruity, with passionfruit, oranges, pineapple and green apples. Some underlying toffee malt and woody honey.Flavour is dominated by rich caramel malt and followed by a long-lasting bittersweet finish. Some of the fruit transfers through. Also some green grassy hops in the background. Low on bitterness for the style.Thick and creamy mouthfeel, with spot-on light, prickly carbonation.
