Bottle at Taps Beer Bar, Kuala Lumpur. Poured a clear straw colour with a thin white head and lots of bubbles. The aroma is plasticine light medicinal hop. The flavour is moderate bitter with a dry mineral woody hop bitter palate. Light bodied with lively carbonation.

(Bottle) Hazy pale yellow, slight white head. Little aroma, maybe candy. Medium body, reasonable carbonation. Light citrus and candy flavour. Overall thin and unexciting.

I don’t often bother commenting on the appearance of my beers, but the pale yellow look was so insipid that it was a turnoff for me. Luckily, the aroma was more meaty, with lots of honey, peaches and marshmallow. But then, back to the negatives: the taste is a real hodge podge with a bitter citrus taste being the predominant feature of a dry, bubbly palate. I’m not sure that this beer knows what it’s trying to be.

From a 330ml on 12/3/2011. Pours a cloudy straw colour with a slight head. Has a slight yeasty, fruity (lemon) aroma. The main flavours are tropical fruit and more lemon, with a slightly sour dash of hops. The body is quite thin. Just okay.

Pours gold with a small head.nose shows dirty stale malt and little else. Some mild lemony hops are just noticeable. Quite faint.Flavours inlcude more sweet malt along with lemon and banana, but swiftly goes downhill with a stale, watery, solvent-like and only slightly bitter finish.Good moderately high carbonation though!
