Bottle. Creamy off-white good mostly lasting head. Amber colour. Moderate malty and hoppy aroma. Moderate bitter flavor. Average moderate bitter finish. Coffee. Creamy palate.

Bottle 500ml. @ [ TTOD(U)RBSG17 - The Tenth Official Danish (Ulfborg) Ratebeer Summer Gathering 2017 ] @ fonefan - Brugmansia house, Denmark. [ As 2cabeças Hi5 Black IPA ].Clear dark amber brown colour with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, dark malt, roasted, moderate to light heavy hoppy, citrus, grapefruit, light orange. Flavor is moderate to light light heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, roasted, dark malt, frutiy hops. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20170819] 7-4-7-3-15

Bottle, 6.2%. Clear dark brown with small beige head. Aroma is roasted malt, caramel, hops, chocolate, grapefruit and pine. Flavour is roasted malt, chocolate, caramel, grapefruit, pine, medium sweet and a little bitter.

Sampled @ 10th Danish Ratebeer Gathering, Ulfborg, Day 2. Brown color with a nice red glare coming through, average sized off-white to beige head. Smell and taste malts, caramel, brown malts, malt bitter, some roasted malts in there, a sort of metallic bitterness. Some hops there, but more of a slightly hoppy brown ale rather than a Black IPA. Average to decent body and carbonation.

Bottle at John’s. Pours black with a small off-white head. Aroma of roasted malt, chocolate, hop and citrus. Moderate sweetness and medium bitterness. Medium body, slight oily watery texture, average to soft carbonation. Finish is dry, hoppy, bitter.
