Remember when this was first launched, one of the first beers brewed at the new facility in Hadnall, was meant to be something else but went a little awry so got a new name - and pretty sure it won awards! Slighty hazy pale gold with a frothy / creamy white head and a soft fruity aroma. Light and fruity, some juicy tropicals with citrus bitterness and a dry fruity finish.

Cask at CBC, Covent Garden on 28th December 2019. Hazy gold with shallow white foam and travelling lace. Caramel malt aroma with fruitiness. Peach, citrus and a touch of fresh apple in-mouth. Tangy citrus finish with Granny Smith cooking apple. Medium bodied with a smooth texture.

(Cask at Cask Pub & Kitchen, Pimlico, London, 25 Nov 2018) Golden colour with foamy, off-white head. Fruity, hoppy nose with notes of citrus, resin, grass and pine needles. Fruity, hoppy taste with citrus, grapefruit, grass, resin, pears, apricots and a balanced citric/resiny bitterness in the finish. Tasty and well made, with a generous hop character. Nice one.

Half pint, keg at Continental, Preston. Shared with Finn. Spotty lacing from a firm white head. Hazed golden body. Herbal hops on the nose. Hop fruity taste of mango and citrus. A refreshing, moderate bitter finish. Pleasing (05.02.2019).

Cask at The Hanging Bat. Clear golden body with a thin white head. Good lacing. Aroma of orange, peach, lime jelly and wet grass. Flavour of mandarin, custard, Haribo sweets and a light peppery finish. Thin to medium body with an oily, flat texture. Clean, fruity and easy to drink. Nice.
