On tap at Off the Rail. Pours nearly black with a beige head. Bready malts and crust on the nose. Flavour has dry bready malt. It exists.

Bottle. Smells of stout, a bit of chocolate but not much. Decent black body, minimal head. Flavour is okay roasted barley nothing else. Medium mouthfeel, a bit of oiliness. It's okay, not too exciting.

[ As Off the Rail Into The Black Oatmeal Stout ].ABV: 4.8%. Clear dark brown colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, burnt, oat, dark malt, dusty. Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a long duration, dark malt, sweet malt, oat, dusty. Bottle, 4.8%. Very dark brown with small beige head. Aroma is roasted malts, chocolate, coffee, caramel and a little bread. Flavour is roasted malt, caramel, dusty, caramel, medium sweet, herbs, little metallic and a little bitter.

Sampled @ 10th Danish Ratebeer Gathering, Ulfborg, Day 2. Appearance is wonderful: pitch black with a medium to full sized dense brown colored head. Aroma is malts, earthy, a bit ashy. Taste malts, earthy, dry, malt bitter. Not much going on here. Thinnish texture, average body and carbonation. Big disappointment after that great appearance.
