A modern cask-conditioned pale, brewed and dry hopped with Cascade. Bright and golden in colour, it's clean and crisp, with lovely citrus and stone fruit undertones, and a background spicy bitterness. Super refreshing and easy drinking

Cask at Quakerhouse, Darlington. Golden colour, white foam head and aroma of orange citrus, hops. Taste is malt, grain, earthy with fruity citrus, currants and hop bitterness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, drying tangy bitter finish. Nicely drinkable.

Cats Eyes were developed by Percy Shaw, who's road feature earned him in recent times a Wetherspoon pub (now no longer part of the chain) named after him in the Yorkshire town of Halifax. This was drank about 7 miles away from there, a good-looking session pale, healthy cask texture and mild stone fruit.
