Lanzarote is a West Coast IPA born from fire and earth an intense, no-nonsense beer.

Its base of Extra Pale and Crystal P50 malts keeps the profile clean and crisp, making way for the real show: a blend of New Zealand hops Wai-iti, Motueka, and Wakatu added cold, awakening each sip with notes of mandarin peel, grapefruit, and a vibrant burst of candy-like hints.

Fermented with California Ale, it’s dry, bright, and uncompromising IPA that hits with intensity and freshness.

Can. Golden color with white head. Aroma of grapefruit, zest, medium malt. Taste starts sweet malty, moderate caramel, complemented with decent citrus hoppy bitterness with grapefruit, zest, herbal notes. Not balanced, not very drinkable. I had much better beers from Basqueland.

440ml can. Clear amber gold, white head. Aroma of caramel, grapefruit, orange, dank herbs. Taste starts sweet with prominent caramel malts, plenty of orange and grapefruit coming through, resinous, dank herbal notes, decent bitterness. Medium bodied.
As one of their last beers brewed prior to selling out this'll probably be my last from Basqueland. Sad. Many such cases.
