Cask, handpump at The Shoulder of Mutton, Wantage, Tuesday 3rd June 2014 courtesy of Peter Fowler, cheers Peter! Pours very dark brown with a tan head. Roasty nose with some malts, a stream of hoppiness showing. Fruity and really quite juicy with a continual hoppy bitter streak, there is a little roasty cocoa but ultimately this is juicy, hoppy and lovely. A7 A4 T8 P4 Ov15 3.8

Keg at the Hanging Bat. Juicy pine up front turns into dry chocolate roast, bitter coffee finish.

Cask at the Craven, Burmingham. Poured a clear dark brown with a frothy off white head and lots of clingy lace. The aroma is grassy medicinal hop. The flavour is medium to strong bitter with a strong medicinal band aid light spice hop palate. Medium to full bodied with average carbonation.

Cask at Rutland Arms, Sheffield. Very dark, clear brown. Bubbly, lasting, tan head. Dark, roasty malt. Milk chocolate. Cocoa. Dark, vine fruits. Light grapefruit marmalade. Taste is light, cocoa dry. Smooth palate, complemented by the light carbonation. Dry, ashy, medium bitter finish. Very nice. Very easy drinking.
