This banger of an IPA wasn’t just brewed for good times at home or the pub, we made it to travel too! Soft Disco Leisure Reception is heading with us across the pond, as a signature brew to pour at the legendary Firestone Walker Invitational Beer Festival in California in a few weeks. As the only UK brewery invited to pour alongside some of the most respected names in industry, we wanted to bring something that shows exactly what we’re about: big, bold beers, huge hop flavours, and shedloads of fun! 440ml can from Vinmonopolet Langnes. Opaque golden body, stable white head, lacing rings down the glassware. Quite inviting smell of pineapple with a floral touch. Strong hop fruity taste, hints of pineapple and peaches, pale malty moments as well. Soft hop fruity ending. Just alright without further excitements. (Tromsø, 19.03.2026).

Panda thanks to Cloin. A mildly hazy gold beer, small bubbly pale cream colour head. Airy and semi dry palate, decent fine minerally carbonation. Thin pale malts but, quite a fairly forward creamy sweetness. Light pine hops. A tangy and awkward bitterness. Thin citrus and stone fruits, touch of Riwaka exotics. Light and fairly dry finish. Hmm. A few too many awkward aspects to forgive or overlook here.

On tap at The Star & Garter, Bromley. Nose is grapefruit, peach, apricot. Taste is peach, mango, grapefruit, lemongrass. Long bittersweet finish.

Can at home picked up from HOTM maybe. A translucent golden orange coloured pour with a lively off white fluffy white head. Aroma is soft creamy wheat, waxy citrus, dank, onion, crayon, green citrus, kaffir lime. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, creamy wheat, medium dank, crayon, firm bitterness. Juicy,

Hazed orange topped with a lasting just off white head.
Nose is ripe tropicana, pine resin, grass, raw pineapple, mandarin.
Taste comprises grapefruit, pine resin, bitter orange, dank spike, putty, mandarin.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close spiked with juicy come resinous hop bitterness.
Solid IPA.

Tap at The Hope, Carshalton (25/11/2025) - Tropical and citrus fruity aroma and taste with notes off pineapple, mango, papaya, some pithy tangerine rind bitterness coming in, dense sweet malty backing, solid hoppy finish. Lovely.

440ml Can - Murky golden yellow. Grapefruit, orange, pineapple and some slightly sulphuric notes in the aroma. Passion fruit, grapefruit, papaya and orange can be detected in the taste.
