Oh yeah, that's real vanilla bean! And lots of it, very nicely extracted and expressed with a rich, fudgey porter behind it showing low roast.
Nice and chewy, not syrupy porter with no old school roast element. Vanilla beans are just gravy here...rich and well-done but not covering up the deep, fudgey maltiness. Soft, rich, but still properly attenuated and balanced.
