Can (4/8/25) from the brewery. Pale yellow with nice sparkle, big head with fair retention and no lacing. Aroma is strong white grape, bit of white wine, mild tropical fruit over pale/Pilsner malt, hint of matchstick. Taste is white grape over pale/Pilsner malt, minerals, late hint of matchstick. Frothy texture, soft carbonation and dry finish as taste. The Nelson (grape-y kind, not herbal) carries the day, which I really like. Pilsner malts are there but subdued with everything else going on, which I also like. Enjoyable.

Canned 4/8/25, drunk 5/20/25, compliments of tfontana. Thanks, Tom!
Clear, bright lemon-lime-brass-golden. Large, white head, steadily recedes to spotty cover.
Beautifully-aromatic nose still shows of big Nelson spice, white wine and mineral. Mild-to-moderate matchstick from the Riwaka and soft, honey-accented malts to balance. Lingering gooseberry, unripe guava and more mellow honey-like maltiness. Clean.
Juicy, tropical, full of white wine with mild spice and mild matchstick. Mildly zippy bitterness balances the deep, rich, mostly well-attenuated malts nicely. Some light biscuit helps dry, as well. Not that it really matters, but what's West Coast about this? The fact that it doesn't have noble hops? I thought a WC pils was supposed to mimic WC IPA hop profiles using, you know, WC hops. Whatever the case, this is lovely and very well-done. Only critique would be wanting just a bit more attenuation. It's just a bit round and sweet at points.

16 oz can traded by tfontana. Aroma is mild Nelson and some fresh green grass. Flavor is grass clippings, mild lemon, and soft herbs with a nice steady bitterness. Very refreshing quality and ends nicely.
