For this second and final Singularity for our 2024-25 Advocators, we opted to showcase our last remaining Bookers Bourbon barrel from a couple years ago. We only got our hands on a few of these barrels, but they’ve found their way into some of our favorite blends over the last year. Though we’d never pick a singularity on “name” alone, this barrel was the far-and-away favorite from our last tasting session, and we are stoked to showcase it for our members in this release. Much like its siblings, this barrel comes in swinging with a big punchy spirit character that promises heat yet delivers smooth warmth. Unlike the others, however, in its last few months of aging this beer began to show off some incredibly rich, chocolatey undertones which fill out the palate beautifully. No adjuncts needed; this beer shines on its own and is an incredibly worthy addition to our Singularity lineup.

MBCC. Black with a light brown head. Aroma is sweet, roasted malt, coffee, dark chocolate and bourbon. Flavor is very sweet and moderate bitter. Sweet and moderate bitter finish with lots of warming alcohol. Oily, soft and a bit boozy. 230525

On tap at MBCC 2025, yellow session. Pours black with a beige head. Roasted malts, tequila barrels on the nose. Flavour has tons of rich roasted malts and bourbon barrels, some dark molasses. Excellent.
