Canned 7/31/14.
This was poured into a chalice.
The appearance was a light hazy orange color with a slim one finger white foamy head that dissipated within about a minute. Ample amount of light lacing glosses around the glass.
The smell had a light spiced apple/maybe ginger and super light pumpkin spice in a sticky cinnamon sort of way.
The taste was mainly the same with a sticky sweet pumpkin to apple aftertaste with a sticky finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a medium on the body. It was somewhat sessionable. There’s a decent sticky sweet to spicy finish that’s nice.
Overall, I say this was a good tripel dedicated to Autumn. Yeah, I would bang this again.

Can form the cube 4 pack. Can dated 7/31/2014 stamped on bottom. Mostly clear copper color with nearly no head. Aroma is rather odd. Indeed Belgian yeast with a nice character of gourd, light nutmeg.

For me the Belgian yeast and pumpkin clash a bit. Spicy yeast, bready malt base, notes of honey. Mild bitterness from spices with a creamy texture that becomes dry. After about 6 oz. it got very cloying.

1 year old can. Shared at my Summer Plunder Tasting..Belgian tripel - a light golden copper with a solid spices & pumpkin aroma. The body is thin and a bit watery. The taste is bitter earthy spices and light pumpkin. Quite nicely balanced spice wise.

Great balance, pours golden with good head and lacing. Some light floral Belgian. Ok. Not much of the pumpkin, thankfully. Palate a little watery. Tap at Snallygaster.

Clove, cinnamon, triple sec, pie crust nose. Cloudy amber, thick sticky yellow head. Overripe apricot, pumpkin, somewhat herbal and maybe a bit vegetal (not the pumpkin). Medium body. Unique, enjoyable, but full of competing flavors.
