0.5 l bottle from 'Bierothek' (online), best before April 2026. Hazy, dark brownish amber with a thin, frothy, almost stable, beige head. Sweetish-malty, slightly spicy aroma of caramel, toasted nuts, grains and light raisins. Quite sweet, malty, moderately bitter, a bit spicy taste of caramel, grains, nuts and some raisins, followed by a short, moderately bitter, a little dry finish. Thin to medium body, gently effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Somewhat strange, still drinkable.

Swing top bottle 50 cl. Pours a cloudy, opaque orangey amber with a creamy and lacing, off-white head. Kinda rye bready aroma. Light in body, again some rye bread, a hint of caramel and an edge of cardboard. Somewhat yeasty but no bitterness. 130725

Cloudy dark amber with a fluffy head. Dark bread, roasted malt, sourdough, spelt, hay, yeast, candied malt, dark honey. Malty honey sweetness, slightly dry. Light bodied, oily texture, lively carbonated, dry malty bready honey sweet finish. It’s a very rural tasty NA beer. Similar to the regular Emmerbier, nice!
