Can from Hmart, brewed and canned in Kentucky. Pours cloudy dark yellow-ochre with a small foamy off-white head that flops fast, sharp wasabi aroma, adequate carbonation, medium bitter taste, prominent wasabi flavor, thin smooth body, long wasabi finish. Very interesting beer.

Pours an amber from a can. Smell is a weirdly spicy egg, like a deviled egg maybe. Flavor is more of a somewhat lightly spiced sweet malt. Meh, not my bag.

Draught at EBF: pours golden with white head. Aroma is earthy with vague wasabi hints. Taste is earthy and light bitterness. Meh.

Bottle acquired from Denmark. Pours hazy pale gold with a short lasting white head. Subtle aroma of wasabi, but more dominant is boiled veg (cabbage and swede). Sorachi Ace is just evident. Light sweetness, strange bitterness. Light body, slight watery texture, average carbonation. Very slight mustard wasabi edge to taste but not a lot. Kind of grew on me a little but this one was mostly drain pour.

Bottle. Frothy white good mostly lasting head. Yellow colour. Moderate malty and light hoppy aroma. Herbal. Ugly flavor.Average ugly finish. Watery palate. Rubbish.

[ As Japas Wasabiru ].Clear medium orange yellow, pale malt, wasabi - mustard, earthy colour with a small to average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, wasabi - mustard, earthy. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration, sweet malt, pale malt, fruity, wasabi, herbal. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20170819] 4-3-4-3-7

Bottle @ Danish Ratebeer Summer Gathering. Nice head with good duration. Color is golden. Aroma and taste are earthy hops, fruits, flowers and malt.

5 3 6 3 10 Bottle shared at Danish Ratebeer Summer Gathering ’17. Hazy golden with a white head. Aroma of green weedy hops, caramel, herbal notes, veggies and malt. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.
