Cask (Fitzgeralds, Newcastle) - Golden with a white head. Soapy and hoppy aroma with orange and lemon detected. Hoppy, yet nicely balanced and refreshing taste with notes of lemon, grapefruit and orange peel.

Cask at the Anchor, Birmingham. Poured a slightly hazy light straw with a round white head. The aroma is malt with some yeasty notes. The flavour is medium bitter light sour with a malty citrus palate. Medium bodied with flat carbonation. I suspect this ale was almost done, hence the sourness.
