Super Over Ripe is our most tropical hazy Double IPA dry hopped with juicy Citra hops. Mangosteen helps this strong brew spill over with lush over ripe fruit flavor.

Cloudy, sort of dull, bright tropical aroma, guessing that is the mangosteen. Lots of bitterness, alcohol, not bad though because of that big mangosteen character.

First time I ever heard of mangosteen. Had to look it up. Aroma's are mangoes, pineapple with a little banana and cheese. Flavors are similar to nose. Slightly more sweet than tart with good carbonation. Good body and finish follows flavors, but turns bitter at the end. Nice.

Aroma: hoppy at first with tons of tropical fruits coming, very juicy.
Taste: along the same lines, extremely juicy and fruity.
Overall: amazing!

Very hazy golden and straw coloured body with a large, three to four centimetre tall off-white and creamy frothy head that stays afloat nicely above the 85 per cent opaque body. Aroma of bright tropical fruits, including, yes, somehow - Mangosteen, with guava, papaya, assertive hops and dry grassy notes with a noticeable amount of alcohol and even durian here in the nose. Medium to Full-bodied; Rich tropically fruit notes hit at first with some assertive papaya and melon notes that seemingly add to the body and richness, with some floral and grassy notes too, but finishing with bitterness from the hops, some funkiness, a good deal of alcohol (tastes around the 9 per cent listed) and a nice amount of Manogsteen! Aftertaste is rich from the fruit and hops with a nice strong malt bill and some nice roundness of the flavours that are balanced nicely. Overall, a very nice IPA that shows Imperial Status from the malt, significant hops and alcohol bite, but the best flavours of course from Mangosteen - perhaps the best fruit in the world and as someone who has eaten the fruti many different times in a lot of SouthEast Asian countries, this one is represented well! Great to have across the US and halfway across the world from where this fruit acutally is! I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can, purchased from Liqour Outlet in Boonton, New Jersey on 03-September-2022 for US$5,99 with the tagline 'Doctor Frankensteen' and 14-August-2022 listed at the bottom of the can, sampled at my house here in Washington on 06-October-2022.
