As the days start to draw in and the cold Autumnal winds blow, an ancient legend stirs in the pumpkin fields of the Dwarfen Kingdoms.
This malty Pumpkin ale brings warmth on cool Autumn evenings with it’s mix of earthy hops and pumpkin ale spices.

Third of a gravity dispensed pint at the Kidderminster Beer Festival on 6th November 2021. Tight white head on an amber body, didn't detect any pumpkin spices, etc, etc, nor much evidence of smokiness. Liked it though, it was malty and semi-sweet.

Cask at Hops d’Amour, Coventry on 29th October 2021. Coppery amber with shallow off-white foam and spot lacing. Smoky, malty aroma. Richly smoky in-mouth, with smoked meat and woodsmoke prevalent. Zesty peel in the finish. Medium bodied with a smooth mouthfeel.

Tried at the Nottingham Beer Festival 14. Golden Amber colour with pale head. The first pumpkin beer I’ve tried. It was ok.

Cask at the Birmingham Beer Festival 2013. Poured a clear medium amber with a bubbly white head. The aroma is pumpkin with some more pumpkin. The flavour is weak veggie herb leading to a light bodied watery palate. I’m not a pumpkin fan so I will mark this beer down but if you like pumpkin it could be the beer for you!
