Cask at the Duchess of Cambridge - London. Pours moderately cloudy gold with a fine, white cream head. The nose is pine and ripening orange. Medium sweet flavor with grass, some bready malts, hints of brett, tangerine, melon, pine. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Lightly resinous to finish, more sticky pine and bitter citrus rind. Fair.

Old Fountain. Cask. Clear gold beer with a small pale cream coloured head. Palate is smooth and semi dry. Very modest carbonation. Modest carbonation. An odd flavour off mildly spicy tea, like Lapsong Suchong, but it’s not that and it’s more peppery! Touch of marmalade leads to a dry finish. Quite well joined up in a strange way!

Bottle from Cotteridge Wines, Birmingham. Poured a clear medium amber with a frothy white head. The aroma is of citrus fruit, honey, grassy hops and a little spice. The flavour is medium bitter with a medium bodied smooth liqourice bitter palate and a short bitter finish. I really liked this beer. It has everything.
