[Cask at the Bell, Waltham St Lawrence. ] A bright amber pour with a thin cream coloured head; biscuity malt aroma; sweetish malt taste with a good measure of English hops adding bitterness; before a dry caramel finish. A good traditional bitter.

Cask at the Birmingham Beer Festival 2013. Poured a very slightly hazy medium amber with a thin white head. The aroma is malt with a little resin. The flavour is weak bitter. Weak bodied with a slightly acid sour palate. I don’t think this beer is at its best.
