This is an uncompromising 7.7% Imperial Red Ale loaded high with American Hops.
Think of this as an Imperial India Rd Ale, or a super-charged version of 5am Saint.
Either way this is a seriously good beer!

15.09.2013, 0,33l bottle @ home:
Nice creamy longlasting head, and this can truly be called a red ale. Aroma is lots of hops, toffee, forest floor, pine needles, rubber, grass. Taste is harsh grassy, lots of harsh hops, wet leafs, bark, soil, pine needles, burnt caramel, harsh grass, sap, wet grain. Longlasting harsh bitterness. Too bitter and harsh for my taste.

Bottle. Almost clear red/copper liquid with small to medium off-white head. Aroma of pine, soap, citrus, grass, toffee, caramel, bread, tangerine and perfume. Taste is light sweet and medium bitter with notes of pine, soap, tangerine, toffee and perfume. A bit alcohol. Medium bodied with medium carbonation. Not that good.

Smak och doft av humle, malt, karamell, tropisk frukt med toner av russin och tall. Tydlig beska men lite ojämn i sitt framförande. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

clear brown, small light brown head. quite malty aroma, also strong hops, ,strong malty aroma dominates, hops try to balance, but fail slightly.flavor is very nice , good hoppy bitterness, and lots of malts create a very nice slightly roasted base. If you are okay with a slightly sweet brwe, you’ll like this.

Tap at Brewdog Birmingham. Poured a cloudy dark treacle colour with a thin off-white head. The aroma is very weak dry malt and a little toffee. The flavour is strong bitter, with loads of zesty alcohol liqourice and a little resin on the somewhat smooth palate. Very drinkable and I did enjoy it, despite the dominance of the alcohol inspired liqourice.
