Amber coloured ale. A full malty flavour is contrasted with moderate bitterness. Brewed using German lager hops to give a classic hoppy aroma.

25th Aug 2017. Gravity poured half-pint during the 8th Annual Beer Festival at The Bridge End Inn, Ruabon. Golden pour, thin white head. Malt based aroma with a slight citrus leaning, taste similar: the finish getting more bitter than the initial semi-sweet maltiness.

Pale blond with creamy head. Aroma and flavour are light and citrusy. Pleasantly dry and bitter.

Cask @ Hop, Leeds as Fernandes Sizzler. Yellow-blonde with a thick frothy head. Has a mild citrus character, but not as summery an ale as the name suggests as it’s not too crisp.

Cask at The Post Office Vaults, Birmingham. Poured a crystal clear light straw colour with a broken white head. The aroma is weak stale malt leading to a medium to weak bitter flavour with a watery malt, slightly resinous palate. A drinkable session ale but nothing too special.
