A light, easy-drinking beer with a slightly spicy and delicate floral smooth bitterness. The name comes from Shakespeare’s Bottom and the Donkey from Midsummer’s Night Dream.

Hand-pulled pint in The Old Joint Stock, Birmingham on 6th July 2013 (after a certain Black Country Bus Trip). Auburn/Amber body: thin white head. The nose and taste were hop floral with a semi-sweet biscuit maltiness throughout. Mild hop bitter finish but this is a malt first brew that leans slowly towards my sort of Bitter (I have a sweet tooth). OK body depth wise and a pleasant session Bitter all round.

Cask at the Old Joint Stock, Birmingham. Poured a dark copper colour with a round glass head. The aroma is rich and fruity. The flavour is medium bitter, red berry fruit and slightly metallic. A very drinkable beer!
