Cask at the Rose & Crown, Sandhurst.- enjoyed in the garden, with just the deer grazing in the neighbouring field for company Straw in colour with a tight cream head; aroma of sour grains and some orchard fruit; firm fruity body with a trace of honey, then an unusual zesty bitterness with some tangerine peel; before a dry finish with biscuit and apricot kernels. Surprisingly complex.

Cask at Ye Cracke, Liverpool. Pours clear gold, thin white head. Aromas of light lemon, dusty malt, touch of biscuit. Taste is more of the same. Decent overall.

Cask at The White Swan, Solihull. Poured a very slightly hazy amber with a thin white frothy head and lots of broken lace. The aroma is weak malty leading to a weak bitter, malty flavour with some nice English hops on the creamy smooth palate. Served at the right temperature this is the perfect session ale.

Wonderful golden coloured ale. Light bodied and very light texture hides most of the bitterness.
