Grisettes are rustic, elegant, low strength pale ales. Often overlooked for hoppier styles yet utterly delicious. Typically crisp, dry and refreshing with a light lilt of spice or tartness from the yeast. We added Lemon Peel and Thyme for a citrus burst and botanical boost that compliments the Lemon Drop hops. Enjoy Lekkerding a classic farmhouse style.

On tap at Fuggles Cafe Tonbridge. Hazy pale gold colour lasting white head. Herby aroma like rosemary. Interesting yeast character. Herby flavour. Lemon . Very light soap. Light sourness. OK fish.

Keg draught at the Two-Tailed Lion, Leicester. Light to mid-gold, a little hazy with visible carbonation. The head is white, spotty, small, uneven. Aroma is grassy and herbal, more lemon balm than lemon drop with strong thyme. Taste is sweet with a savoury herbal character, touch of salt. Wow, there is so much going on here. Light peppery notes on the finish. Full body for the ABV with massive carbonation. Another wonderfully creative beer, absolutely delicious and like nothing I've ever tried.

Keg at Winckley Street Alehouse, Preston, 16/05/2025.
Moderately hazed golden orange topped with an off white cap that thins to a swirl.
Nose is lemon rind, herb, light yeast notes, hay bale.
Taste comprises herb, hedgerow, lemon rind, thyme, damp straw, barnyard tickle.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close.
Decent flavoursome saison for the meagre ABV.
