Gravicask at Stratford Alehouse, half-pint shared with Finn. Clear golden body, bubbles to the rim of the surface, scattered lacing. Inviting smell of oily hops, lightly spiced. Ripe citrus flavours, hints of spiced. Ends with a nice mid-dry bitter bite. Quite alright. (Stratford-upon-Avon 02.02.2020).

Cask-conditioned at the JDW in WIllenhall, 12/11/2015. Amber with a decent, white, head. Aroma of tangerine fruit, grassy hops and a touch of caramel sweetness. Flavour had more citrus fruit, chewy malts and a dryish finish. Pretty good.

Cask at the Coal Hole, Nicholson’s - London. A very so so beer. Very basic elements present, among them mild citrus and bread. Just drinkable.

Cask at the Swan (Nicholsons), Hammersmith. Amber with a ring of white head; muted tropical fruit aroma; soft and sweet in the mouth with lots of trpoical fruit - mango and pinenapple particularly; then a crisp, grapefruity finish. A good single hopper.

Cask at The Fountain, Walsall. Poured a clear amber with a frothy white head. The aroma is malty with a little fruit leading to a medium bitter, malty, citrus flavour with some chinook hoppiness and a touch of spice on the palate. A beautiful ale!
